(“MetaGurukul”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use this website (metagurukul.in), our learning platform (metagurukul.graphy.com), the MetaGurukul mobile app, and related services (together, the “Platform”).

By using the Platform or giving us your information, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Personal Information

“Personal Information” means information that identifies you, such as your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, city, age, photograph or account details.

“Sensitive Personal Information” includes passwords, financial information (other than the last four digits of a card), health data, official identifiers (such as Aadhaar or passport numbers) and other categories treated as sensitive under applicable data protection laws. We do not ask for sensitive information unless it is genuinely required.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill a form on this website (for example, to request a counselling call), we collect the parent's name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), the child's class, city, the program of interest and your message. When you register or buy on our learning platform, we collect the details needed for your account and purchase.

Children's information. Our forms are meant to be filled by parents or guardians. On this website we collect only the child's class, not the child's name or contact details. Students who are minors use our programs with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and service providers may record technical information such as browser type, device, language, referring page, IP address and the date and time of visits.

Cookies and similar technologies. This website stores a small preference in your browser (for example, that you closed the app banner). Our learning platform may use cookies to keep you logged in and improve your experience. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work properly.

3. How We Use Information

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange counselling calls or IAS Roadmap Sessions.
• To give you access to our programs, process purchases and provide support.
• To send you information about your programs, sessions, updates and offers. You can ask us to stop marketing messages at any time.
• To improve the Platform and keep it safe, including preventing fraud and misuse.
• To meet legal and compliance requirements.

We do not use your Personal Information for automated decision-making or profiling beyond what is described here.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your Personal Information. We share it only:

• with our team members and service providers who help us run the Platform (for example, website hosting, the Graphy learning platform, payment gateways such as Razorpay, communication tools such as WhatsApp and email, and form services), and only as needed to provide our services;

• to protect the rights, property or safety of MetaGurukul, our learners or others, and to prevent fraud or misuse.

Payments are processed by our payment partners. We do not store card or bank details on this website.

• You can choose what information you give us, although some information is required to provide a service (for example, a phone number to arrange a call).
• You can ask us to stop sending marketing messages.
• You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser.

6. Your Rights

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including legal, accounting and compliance requirements. Where content you shared publicly on the Platform cannot be deleted, we will anonymise your details so you can no longer be identified.

Our website links to other websites and services, such as Google Play, WhatsApp and our payment partners. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their practices.
