Welcome to MetaGurukul. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MetaGurukul website, programs, mentorship services, learning resources, and related services (“Services”), provided by MetaGurukul Knowledge Consulting Pvt. Ltd.

By registering for, purchasing, or participating in any MetaGurukul program, the student and/or parent or legal guardian (“Participant”) agrees to these Terms.

1. Nature of the MetaGurukul Program

MetaGurukul provides structured educational guidance, mentorship, learning resources, awareness-building, and long-term developmental support intended to help students build a strong foundation for future UPSC preparation and develop skills such as critical thinking, communication, awareness, confidence, discipline, and leadership.

MetaGurukul programs are designed as a long-term developmental journey and are not a guarantee of success in the UPSC Civil Services Examination or any other examination, career, employment, rank, or government position.

Participation in MetaGurukul does not guarantee that a student will become an IAS, IPS, or any other civil servant.

2. Mentorship Commitment

Where a specific program or communication expressly states that mentorship is intended to continue for a defined period or milestone, such commitment is subject to the continued availability and ability of the designated mentor(s) to provide such mentorship.

Any statement regarding long-term mentorship, including mentorship intended to continue until a student reaches a particular educational or career milestone, represents the intended scope of the program and is subject to these Terms.

Such commitments should not be interpreted as an unconditional or irrevocable personal-service guarantee.

3. Mentor Unavailability, Death or Permanent Disability

MetaGurukul's model is significantly based on mentor-led guidance and therefore certain programs may be associated with a specific mentor.

In the event that the designated mentor:

• passes away;
• suffers permanent disability, serious illness, incapacity, or any other condition that makes the mentor permanently or indefinitely unable to provide the committed mentorship;
• becomes legally or otherwise unable to provide the Services; or
• is otherwise prevented by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of MetaGurukul from continuing to provide the committed mentorship,

any future or continuing mentorship commitment specifically dependent upon that mentor shall automatically stand terminated from the date on which such inability becomes effective.

Effect of such termination. In such circumstances:

• No further fees or future payments shall become due from the student/parent for services or mentorship that were to be provided after the effective date of termination.
• No refund shall be payable for amounts already paid for the program, including amounts paid towards a long-term or future mentorship commitment.
• Any commitment expressed as extending to a future milestone, for example mentorship “until the student becomes an IAS officer”, shall automatically cease and shall no longer be enforceable once the designated mentor becomes permanently unable to provide such mentorship.
• MetaGurukul shall not be liable for damages, compensation, loss of opportunity, or any other claim arising solely from the inability of the designated mentor to continue providing such mentorship.
• MetaGurukul may, at its discretion, communicate with affected participants regarding any alternative learning resources, recorded content, sessions, or other support that may be available. However, MetaGurukul shall not be obligated to provide an equivalent personal mentorship arrangement unless expressly agreed in writing.

The Participant acknowledges that certain MetaGurukul offerings are dependent upon the continued availability of the designated mentor and accepts this inherent limitation before enrolling in such a program.

4. Student Death or Permanent Incapacity

If a student passes away or becomes permanently incapacitated such that the student is no longer able to participate in the program, the student's participation and all future mentorship commitments shall automatically terminate.

No further fees shall be payable for services that would have been provided after such termination.

Fees already paid shall generally be non-refundable, except where MetaGurukul is required by applicable law to provide otherwise.

5. No Guarantee of Examination or Career Outcome

MetaGurukul provides education, mentorship, guidance, and developmental support. However, the outcome of any examination or career path depends on numerous factors beyond MetaGurukul's control, including the student's effort, consistency, academic performance, circumstances, examination policies, competition, and external conditions.

Accordingly, MetaGurukul does not guarantee:

• qualification in UPSC Civil Services Examination;
• achievement of a particular rank;
• selection into IAS, IPS, or any other service;
• employment or appointment to any government position;
• success within a specified period; or
• achievement of any particular career outcome.

Any reference to becoming an IAS/IPS officer or achieving a particular career outcome is an aspiration or intended long-term objective and should not be interpreted as a guarantee.

6. Program Structure and Changes

MetaGurukul may modify the structure, schedule, curriculum, delivery method, learning resources, session format, or supporting content of a program where reasonably necessary to improve the learning experience or respond to operational, educational, technological, regulatory, or other circumstances.

Where reasonably possible, participants will be informed of material changes.

Such changes will not ordinarily constitute a cancellation of the program.

7. Sessions, Recordings and Learning Resources

Where applicable, MetaGurukul may provide live sessions, recorded sessions, learning materials, assignments, assessments, discussions, or other educational resources.

Availability of a particular recording, resource, session, or platform feature may vary depending on the program.

MetaGurukul does not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent availability of any particular digital resource.

8. Attendance and Student Participation

The effectiveness of the program depends substantially on the student's participation, consistency, engagement, and effort.

MetaGurukul cannot be held responsible for outcomes where a student does not reasonably participate in the program or make use of the learning opportunities provided.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to support students in maintaining consistent participation.

9. Fees and Payments

Program fees, payment schedules, applicable taxes, and other commercial terms will be communicated at the time of enrolment.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, fees once paid are non-refundable.

Where a payment plan is agreed, the Participant remains responsible for payments that have become due under the agreed payment schedule, subject to the specific provisions relating to termination, mentor unavailability, and other circumstances described in these Terms.

10. Refunds and Cancellation

Refund eligibility, if any, will be governed by the specific refund policy communicated for the relevant program at the time of enrolment. See also our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Except where expressly provided under the applicable refund policy or required by law, payments made to MetaGurukul are non-refundable.

Termination of a long-term mentorship commitment due to mentor death, permanent disability, incapacity, or similar circumstances described in these Terms shall not, by itself, create a right to a refund of amounts already paid.

11. Intellectual Property

All MetaGurukul content, including but not limited to:

• videos and recorded sessions;
• study material;
• presentations;
• curriculum;
• frameworks;
• assessments;
• documents;
• graphics;
• website content;
• trademarks;
• logos; and
• proprietary learning methodologies

are owned by or licensed to MetaGurukul and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Participants may use such materials solely for their personal educational purposes.

They may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish, commercially exploit, or share such materials with third parties without prior written permission.

12. Account and Access

Where the program requires an account or login credentials, access is personal to the enrolled student and must not be shared, transferred, sold, or otherwise made available to another person.

MetaGurukul reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in cases of unauthorized sharing, misuse, fraud, or material violation of these Terms.

13. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

For students who are minors, enrolment and participation must be undertaken with the knowledge and consent of the student's parent or legal guardian.

The parent/guardian acknowledges that:

• the program is educational and developmental in nature;
• long-term outcomes cannot be guaranteed;
• the student's individual effort and participation remain important; and
• certain programs may depend upon the continued availability of a specific mentor.

14. Personal Information and Privacy

MetaGurukul may collect and process information necessary for registration, communication, program delivery, learning support, payments, and improvement of its Services.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with MetaGurukul's Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Services and Technology

MetaGurukul may use third-party platforms, software, communication tools, payment gateways, video-conferencing services, hosting providers, or other technology providers to deliver parts of the Services.

MetaGurukul shall not be responsible for interruptions or failures caused solely by third-party systems that are outside its reasonable control.

16. Force Majeure

MetaGurukul shall not be responsible for delay, interruption, modification, or inability to provide Services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, government restrictions, regulatory changes, infrastructure failures, internet or technology failures, civil disturbances, or other extraordinary events.

Where such circumstances materially affect program delivery, MetaGurukul may modify schedules, delivery methods, or program arrangements as reasonably necessary.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MetaGurukul shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or loss-of-opportunity damages arising from participation in its programs.

MetaGurukul's Services are educational and developmental in nature, and participants acknowledge that individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Misuse and Prohibited Activities

Participants shall not:

• misuse MetaGurukul's website or learning platforms;
• attempt unauthorized access to systems;
• copy or commercially distribute proprietary content;
• impersonate another participant or mentor;
• engage in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate conduct; or
• use MetaGurukul content for unauthorized commercial purposes.

MetaGurukul may suspend or terminate access where there is a material violation of these Terms.

19. Changes to These Terms

MetaGurukul may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in its Services, operating practices, technology, or applicable laws.

The latest version published on the website shall apply to future use of the Services.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the applicable jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Important Acknowledgement

By enrolling in a MetaGurukul program, the Participant confirms that they understand that MetaGurukul's long-term mentorship model is designed around a specific mentor-led approach and that certain long-term commitments are inherently dependent upon the continued ability and availability of the designated mentor.

The Participant further acknowledges that no educational institution or mentor can guarantee an IAS/IPS selection or any specific career outcome, and that any long-term mentorship commitment is subject to the limitations and conditions stated in these Terms.
